Torrey is an avid woman's health advocate, safety and rights. She is on the SafeBAE board and is the spokesperson and advocate for NHPCO. Additionally, she has been an outspoken advocate for the rights of women to reproduce and was a speaker at the Planned Parenthood's Bans Off Our Bodies virtual event at The Women's Convention in 2022 as well as shared her own personal abortion story in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. Since 2013, she has changed from veganism to vegetarianism. She also supports the animal rights organizations, such as PETA IMAlive The Humane Society of the United States, and PAWS Adoptions are available in Chicago.
